IS Application Architect Job in Northbrook 5 Story Bld 60062, Illinois US
This position will be responsible for the architecture design of medium to large multi-platform IS applications for the Consumer Engagement Engine program, including (but not limited to ) architecture and design for new applications, extending existing applications to support new business processes and programs, production support activities, design and code reviews, object and data modeling.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with open systems.
Design and development Experience in Java/J2EE/Weblogic and Oracle 10g+
Experience in SOA, Web-Services
Experience in ETL and high volume batch processing
Experience in designing for performance and other non-functional requirements
Experience in using UML for creating and architecture and design artifacts
Strong verbal and written communication.
Ability to analyze and communicate business impact of key design decisions
Preferred:
Experience in TeraData, Initiate, Blaze/other rules engine, Informatica technologies.
Experience working with pharmacy or healthcare business systems
Experience working with offshore development teams.
9+ years of experience in developing and maintaining enterprise applications with at least 2 years as a full-time application architect.
