This SPB Operations Business Risk Management position will be responsible for regional management of the SPB Ops Business Risk Management team in EMEA, responsible for the execution of the Business Continuity, Supplier Risk, and Records Management milestones, ensuring all deliverables are achieved and compliance of all ICG and Citi program policies.
The Business Continuity Management portion of the role ensures:
- Annual assessment of business impacts and assessment of recovery strategies
- Development and execution of business recovery plans
- Funding and implementation of recovery strategies
- Validation of recovery capabilities
- At time of disaster coordination of business recovery activities
- Business approval of program milestones and program attestation
- Business crisis management support and administration
- Assessment and plan information is entered into Corporate Tools.
The Supplier Risk Management portion of this role ensures:
- Assessment and evaluation of the outsourced business operations
- Vendor adherence to ICG and Citi policies
- At time of disaster coordination of business recovery activities
- Management of business recovery plans and strategies
- Business approval of program milestones and program attestation
- Business crisis management support and administration
- Proper information is submitted into Corporate Tools
The Records Management portion of the role ensures:
- Evaluation of critical records and retention periods
- Adherence to ICG and Citi policies and milestones
The role will also need to ensure:
- Exceptions and issues are properly addresses in a timely manner
- Escalation of any issues to senior management as required
- Meet periodically with senior business managers to discuss any risks and/or gaps
Skills
- Extensive experience within the financial services industry relating to security operations and transaction services
- Experience with industry knowledge and best practices across Business Continuity, Supplier Risk Management, and Records Management
- Practical experience with Business Continuity, Supplier Risk, and Records Management areas, including risk assessment, training and awareness, third party assessment, and incident management
- Proven leader with track record
- Experience with supplier management including purchasing cycle and supplier assessment
- Discipline certifications a plus, but not required
- Strong risk analysis and problem solving skills
- Establish excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Individual must be analytical, self-motivated, and detail oriented.
- Seeking a team player able to lead by example.
- Must have the ability to work well under pressure and comfortable dealing with senior managers.
