Detailed Description
- Create a Geographic Business Plan to contain at minimum:
- Market, Customer and Competitive Analysis
- Forecast, Solutions, IP, Partnerships and ROI
- SWOT
- ID of SCA SCDs (Sustainable Competitive Advantages / Disadvantages)
- Strategy
- Tactics
- Respond / oversee top ISM geography issues that need factory resolution
- Drive Sales team to focus on ISM-based opportunities in their region
- Educate Sales teams to drive success through trainings, conference calls and deal- specific sessions
- Perform geographic ISM Revenue and Forecasting Analysis
- Active participation in deals working with the sales team and the ISM Marketing team
o Role of the Business Development Manager is to become part of the team for the top accounts as determined by Sales and ISM Marketing
- Visit accounts and offices in each geography at minimum every other month
- Perform necessary sales training as needed
- Compile marketing requirements / inputs from each geography for future products (IP, new product requirements, etc)
- Drive increase of Xilinx FPGA demand, forecast, solutions adoption and overall ISM business increase for Xilinx
- Create sales tools to assure revenue increase (customer presentations, collateral, playbook, success stories, tear downs, etc)
- Assist Architecture with ecosystem partner biz issues
- Responsible for overall ISM geographic revenue and DW targets
Job Requirements
Industrial Scientific and Medical Business Development Manager for the Americas must have an Electrical Engineering Degree and experience in the Industrial or Medical Market. The following skills are required -
o In-depth knowledge of one of the primary markets covered in this vertical segment. It is preferred that the candidate have industry experience in the market either through product design, sales or marketing.
o Customer focused - Candidate must be able to engage with customers to help show the value of Xilinx in their applications.
o Motivation to drive design wins across the Americas and learn the key elements important for all sub-markets in this segment (Industrial Automation, Motor/Motion Control, Safety, Machine Vision, Surveillance, Imaging, Medical)
The stated location for this position is Austin, TX but we are open to this individual working from any US location.
