IT Business Systems Analyst

Family-owned paper converter and printer is growing rapidly and in need of an ambitious, experienced and highly-disciplined Business Systems Analyst.   This individual will work cross-functionally throughout the organization to leverage technology to lead continuous improvement initiatives. The Business Systems Analyst will report to the Controller and have high visibility to all levels of the organization.  This will provide a talented individual with the opportunity to make a significant impact on a successful and growing organization, as well as an opportunity for career advancement. 

 

The ideal candidate will have prior similar experience with a manufacturing company.  Advanced expertise of ERP systems is a must, as is a commitment to formal process management disciplines.

 

Responsibilities

 

1.      Position FPP as a technology leader relative to its competitors in the industry

2.      Manage all hardware and software technologies, and professional service provider relationships

3.      Analyze companywide systems and processes to find opportunities for improvement with quality, service, data transparency and reporting, and operating efficiencies

4.      Identify and implement new technologies that expand and improve FPP’s operating capabilities

    1. Focus on software applications and custom solutions

5.      Manage and/or support all process improvement initiatives involving ERP software and other hardware and software technologies

6.      Improve and standardize processes, create SOP’s and train personnel

7.      Support Controller with Help Desk responsibilities for onsite PC, printer and phone issues

 

 

Requirements

 

1.      BS in IT/ Computer Science

2.      Disciplined, detailed and data-driven

3.      Minimum 10 years overall work experience, and at least 3 years in a similar role

4.      Strong acumen for business administration and technology management

5.      Proven ability to effectively lead projects (project manager) and achieve results-oriented objectives, particularly in a cross-functional role

6.      Proven ability to successfully manage companywide process improvement initiatives

7.      Exceptional working knowledge of ERP systems including implementations, setups and configurations, and advanced reporting with Access, Excel, Crystal Reports, etc.

8.      Progressive thinker who challenges conventional thoughts and methodology

9.      Strong communication and interpersonal skills

10.  Strong planning and organizational skills
