IT Delivery Manager - Data Delivery - Investment Banking
This role covers the full spectrum of responsibilities for a Senior Development Manager along with a number of aspects of IT Project Management and requires dedicated Technical Leadership to get the project of the ground.
You will have the responsibility for all aspects of IT design and delivery for the Data Provision workstream, over the entire lifecycle of multiple phased project deliveries. Your responsibilities will include building and functionally leading a team of developers, analysts and testers.
There will be a strong architectural and system integration design focus and you will be responsible for the construction of and management to the IT delivery plan, whilst being responsible for the project IT budget ensuring costs are controlled and tracked accurately.
Skills:
Business: You will have previous experience or a background in the finance industry with exposure to and some knowledge of all product asset classes with a depth of knowledge in at least 2 asset classes. Experience in Fund Administration or Servicing is advantageous.
Technical:
- Strong technical development background with architectural design experience.
- Proven experience on data distribution projects, including ETL and data warehousing.
- Agile development practices, configuration and release management. Knowledge of agile warehouse practices would be advantageous.
- Successful track record in an IT Delivery/development, management role.
- Proven IT Leadership and people management, including globally distributed teams.
- Database design and optimisation experience
- Understanding of Data Modelling.
- Excellent communication skills.
