Lead developer (Microsoft stack) Financial applications – Boston recruitment
The role is based in Boston in the heart of the financial district within a company that is very fresh, open minded and committed to building the best trading, risk and portfolio management software and applications for their clients that span the global financial sector on both the buy and sell side.
The technical skills required for this role are:
Advanced programming skills in C# (.NET) preferably using agile methodologies
WPF/Silverlight experience
Technically you will have proven ability developing trading/risk systems in C# .Net 3.5/4.0. You will have strong experience working with either WPF or Silverlight and will be familiar with working in the Agile methodology. Successful candidates with have experience working with RX or LINQ. You will have strong experience with multithreading.
Some financial product knowledge (equities) and experience would be highly beneficial but not essential. Banking/finance background preferred but any relevant experience working with time critical applications in this type of environment will be considered.
