Job Description: The IT Governance Manager is responsible for implementation, guidance and execution of Governance policies and process. This role assumes responsibility for enhancing existing IT Governance processes and procedures that support Project Management discipline within IT and the Firm. Key responsibilities include: Review and approve completion of IT Governance Requirements for Projects and conducts Deep Dives when projects are deemed off-track Develop and evolve IT Governance processes supported within Clarity, and consistent with PPM overall Collaborate with Governance team to fulfill Clarity requests (mailbox/Service Desk tickets) Archive/manage Knowledge Store documentation in Clarity used by Project Managers / Relationship Managers - maintain and develop based on needs Review Project Financials for qualification of labor capitalization in consultation with Finance and Project Managers Execute Project Closure activities when project manager informs project is complete Provide basic Clarity support for Asia, Europe and AMA to track projects Assist with QA/UAT on new Clarity releases/enhancements The successful candidate will endeavor to effect, enhance and drive efficiency in Governance through policies and guidelines staked out by the CIO. This role demands a person who is self-motivated and confident in their ability to leverage Clarity to support the Project and Portfolio Management tool-kit and discipline. This person will build relationships and work directly with Project Managers and IT Relationship Managers in review of Gate requirements based on our established project methodologies. Additionally the candidate will assess labor capitalization opportunities for projects and deliver the appropriate data to Finance for review and monthly reporting as required. This role requires an experienced Project Manager who possesses skills that are essential to manage and improve the practice and discipline of Project and Portfolio Management across all of IT. Further, this candidate should excel in managing priorities with the appropriate stakeholders to drive tool adoption and drive effectiveness in work execution using governance tools. This role will be an important contributor to the assimilation of Agile tools and act as a sponsor and key enabler for process and methodology transformation.
