IT Manager Job in State College

General Dynamics' is looking for an experienced IT Manager for their State College, PA facility. All applicants must be a U.S. Person to be considered. Relocation will be offered for qualified candidates.

Necessary and/or desirable experince:
A minimum of 5 years experience supporting IT operations on Microsoft platforms (preferably 10 years or more), experience collaborating among disparate groups, planning projects, handling multiple simultaneous objectives and supervising employees. Proven ability to work efficiently in a structured environment with process controls, to comply and communicate policy and regulatory initiatives, practically apply technology to solve business problems and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will function with a sense of urgency, possess solid integrity and self-discipline, and have excellent written oral and visual communication skills. Additionally, a candidate must have a clear understanding of the needs of the user base, a strong sense of confidentiality, and the ability to prioritize and execute tasks accurately.

Work schedule, OT, etc:
Schedule is 8-5 M-F and other hours as required to maintain systems and complete tasks. Occasional travel required within the US, approximately once per calendar quarter.Necessary and/or desirable education, training, certification and minimum skills required:

4 year degree from an accredited university, certifications, training or equivalent experience in the use of three or more of the following; MS client and server operating systems, Citrix Presentation Server and clients, MS SQL server, VMware, block-level storage appliances, VB/VBA/VBS, disk imaging systems and Symantec Backup Exec, SEE and SEP.

Must be able to travel 20% of the time.
