IT Portfolio Analyst recruitment
The IT Portfolio Analyst provides ongoing support to the IT senior management team to ensure all resources utilized throughout the IT function are put to effective use, liaising with global IB staff, in particular building good solid relationships with both HR and Finance functions, undertaking a wide range of tasks. There is a significant cross functional / inter-departmental interaction with the following:
- Recruitment agencies for short/medium-term contract staff when required.
- External vendors for medium/long-term service and maintenance contracts.
- IT contracts manager.
- IT cost centre managers and all areas of the IB finance department regarding the budget setting, planning, forecast, accruals and reconciliation processes.
- HR department regarding resourcing profile and planning future IT roles
Accountabilities
- To prioritise own workload on a daily basis
- To decide when urgent issues need to be passed through to the Head of Operations and Services, IT director or other functional/department manager
- To advise on the allocation of budget codes to purchase orders, projects and invoices according to the Financial Chart of Accounts.
- Make solid recommendations for corrective actions when and where required.
- Coordination of IT’s financial portfolio in excess of $15m.
• Work in collaboration with the IT contract manager to ensure SLA’s a required metrics are produced and all Service Reviews organised and coordinated.
Pre-Requisites
• Experience in budget monitoring, tracking, administration, reconciliation and analysis (Bus Admin / finance degree desirable)
• Experience in coordinating, monitoring and analysis of IT resource requirements
• Data analysis and reporting skills.
• Good written and oral skills.
• Highly Organized.
• Ability to build key working relationships, both within the IT function and cross-departmentally.
