IT PRESALES CONSULTANT recruitment
The IT Presales Consultant is the primary pre-sales resource responsible for the translation of business and technical imperatives into sales campaign opportunities that are consistent with the company's core competencies. Through technical acumen, relationship development, and consultative selling skills, they are charged with facilitating our transition to a solutions-based and services-lead engagement model. By leveraging appropriate offerings and expertise, the IT presales consultant will objectively address customer needs while becoming their trusted advisor.
MAIN DUTIES
- Align with appropriate enterprise sales team/areas to represent the Global Services Solutions to all associated accounts.
- Build in-depth knowledge of business/processes and application priorities.
- Uses knowledge of technology, products, processes, industry expertise, and consultative sales skills to educate customers on value of storage infrastructure and management. Competitive positioning capability to enable the organization's unique value proposition to be beneficial to customers and acknowledged.
- Leverages industry/technical background to create high level solutions which utilize existing assets while delivering long term value; develop preliminary project/services/support plan.
