IT Procurement Manager recruitment
- Develop, maintain and manage credible and beneficial stakeholder relationships
- Ensure legally sound and commercially robust contracts in place and adhered to
- Ensure procurement best-practice policy and industry regulatory requirements are adhered to
- Analyse, develop and where relevant rationalise supply base, ensuring value, stability, performance and market competitiveness are maintained and improved
- Ensure procurement category sourcing is efficient and effective
- Lead strategy, policy and direction creation
- Creation and production of savings flightdecks
- Creation and production of contract coverage and compliance flightdecks
- Act as a key interface between technical teams and key stakeholders”
- Analysing spend data to identify potential savings
- Responsible for managing RFI,RFQ, and RFP processes as applicable, including ensuring established policies and practices (Internal Controls) are adhered to throughout the sourcing process
- Source suppliers offering the best combination of price, service and quality
- Ensure/facilitates an implementation plan for transition of selected supplier is in place and monitors implementation if applicable
- Proactively identifies opportunities/initiatives within the IT category in areas of savings, revenues or process streamlining
- Take ownership of assigned savings initiatives regarding maintenance of project plans where applicable
- Manages escalations on behalf of vendors and users to ensure successful resolution
- As part of a relatively small team handling procurement for the region, the ability to take on extra categories/tasks as required
EDUCATION /OR EXPERIENCE Required
• Demonstrable success operating at Category Manager / Category Lead / Senior Procurement Manager level
• You will possess a excellent IT Software, Hardware and Services category knowledge-base
• Solid grounding in English contract law, with a track record of implementing best-practice procurement strategy, policy and governance
• Experience operating within a change-management or consultancy culture highly beneficial
• eSourcing / eProcurement systems knowledge
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Understands the end to end procurement process and best practices
• Dynamic and driven, you will possess flair and gravitas in equal proportion and a passion for best practice procurement on a global scale
Preferred
• Used or administered Ariba,
• Experience in a global procurement department
• System support or similar
• Experience creating analytical reports based on data from different sources
