IT Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator will serve as the key interface to internal departments such as Supply Chain, Order Management, Distribution, and Traffic during the initiation, planning, executing, and closing phases and may also interface with external clients as deemed appropriate per project. The Project Coordinator is responsible for insuring all devices are ordered, entered into the order management system, dropped to the warehouse for pick and shipment, shipped, and delivered according to the project plan as well as assisting with the asset reconciliation of every device that is shipped and installed. The project coordinator may also schedule technicians for deployments as required by the project. Duties and Responsibilities: - Assists Project Manager in all phases of Implementation. - Responsible for ensuring all hardware orders are placed and tracked to delivery. - Is the Project Manager (PM) /Project Coordinator (PC) team's direct link to all administrative and support processes - Place all required hardware orders. - Is the PM/PC team lead in order processing, order management, delivery scheduling, and Business Operations interface for asset acceptance and asset upload files. - Monitors established time frames for product delivery as well as the process and progress of schedules to ensure that project deliverables are met. - Maintains open lines of communication with clients to ensure engagement adheres to schedule as appropriate for each project. - Provides accurate and timely information to management on the performance measurement, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction areas of the project as directed by the PM (delivery timeliness, technician availability as examples). - Documents all meeting data as appropriate; provides regular status reports to all team members, client, and internal management as directed by the PM. Qualifications: - 2+ years experience preferred in hardware deployments including order management and logistics experience - Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools: Excel, MS Project, Word, PowerPoint, Visio - Experience with SAP a plus - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills - Excellent communication skills and customer service skills - Detail oriented - Self-starter - Education: o Bachelors Degree preferred
