IT Project Manager
Our Client a Leading provider of innovative trading platform solutions based in New York seek an experienced IT Project Manager. They are offering an excellent Salary a Bonus package !
The IT project manager will work closely with the programme manager to manage the integration and on boarding of Sell Side institutions our clients currently have important commercial relationships with all of the top 20 trading banks and major strategic system installations up and running.
The IT Project Manager will provide oversight and management of multiple projects and deal with Snr internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have recent experience of working in a structured Project management environment within a leading sell side or buy side institution or systems vendor within the Financial Technology arena.
Our Client’s product is tuned into the regulatory change environment within the Credit Default Swaps (CDS) and interest rate derivatives therefore the ideal candidate will have an understanding and/or experience with Credit default swaps.
Any experience working for or / on the development of a Swap Execution Facility would be advantageous. As would experience working as a project manager for a Futures Commissions Merchant.
Qualifications Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
• Understanding and/or experience with interest rate derivatives
• Understanding and/or experience with Credit default swaps
• Experience working for a Swap Execution Facility or Futures Commissions Merchants an advantage
• Significant experience managing client relationships at all levels
• Demonstrated success in project delivery
• Ability to manage multiple schedules and commitments.
• Significant business analysis experience
• BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, MIS
• 5+ years work experience either within an investment bank or a systems vendor
• 5+ years work experience in Project management or product management.
• PMI certification desired but not required
