IT Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:
o Position reports into the IT Global Business Services organization.
o Directs and manages projects from beginning to end.
o Defines project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with management and stakeholders.
o Develop project plans and associated communications documents.
o Effectively communicate project expectations to IT and business team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
o Estimate project timelines, cost and resource estimates, and recommend subsequent changes where necessary.
o Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders.
o Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate project personnel.
o Identify and resolve issues, conflicts and project dependencies within the project team.
o Define and rack project milestones, deliverables and project success criteria.
o Develop and deliver project status reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations.
o Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues and devise contingency plans.
o Establish any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
o Conduct post-project lessons-learned and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
o Develop best practices processes and systems for project execution and management.
o Participates in test planning and supports test execution process.
o Collaborates with the business on project portfolio definition and roadmap.

REQUIREMENTS:
o Strong leadership abilities to direct cross functional teams on moderately complex projects.
o Ability to manage project(s) from conception to successful implementation
o Demonstrated skills in work process and project management.
o Ability to deal with conflict.
o Demonstrated ability to develop solutions for identified problems/opportunities and selected critical projects and work processes that will most significantly support business strategies and customer expectations.
o Strong oral and written communication, planning, decision making and negotiation skills.
o Good presentation creation and delivery skills.
o Ability to conduct training to introduce new processes or systems.
o Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
o Must be able to build and maintain relationships and facilitate collaboration and communication with technical teams, vendors, consultants and users.
o Ability to adhere to deadlines, adapt to frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
o Strong computer skills.
o Comfortable working with technical teams and end users.
o Ability to think ahead and plan over a 3 – 9 month time span.
o Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
o Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
o Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
o Oracle ERP or SAP experience.
o Scrum
o Minimum education:
 Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical or Engineering field or Business Administration with technical coursework.
o Preferred qualification:
o Certified Scrum Master, PMP or other coursework/training in Agile Methods or Project Management
o MBA
o Experience with electronics manufacturing.
