IT Recruiter

Description Core Responsibilities:
IT Recruiting Experience is most likely a must-contract/perm
• Staffing and Recruitment – proactively source, screen, interview, and place qualified candidates. This includes posting jobs, pre-screening resumes, interviewing candidates both on the phone and in person, and partnering with hiring managers throughout selection process
• Drive a positive candidate experience at all stages of the recruitment process
• Establish relationships with client groups to get a full understanding of their business objectives, challenges and skill-set needs
• Develop networking and referral base with community organizations, agencies, and schools to enhance our image in the community, provide information about employment opportunities and to attract qualified candidates
• Creatively attract top talent in a timely and cost effective manner using multiple sources to advertise and recruit
• Identify/clarify hiring specifications and competencies, document and confirm principal requirements to ensure accurate and detailed job descriptions, and develop action plans to maximize candidate sourcing
• Ensure outreach strategies are in place to advance diversity efforts including developing relationships through participation in Job Fairs, etc.
• Perform ad hoc projects as required

RequirementsRequirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is a plus
• 2+years of experience recruiting from entry- level to senior positions
• It is important that the right person can hit – the - ground running with little ramp - up time
• Insightful – ability to assess intangible aspects of candidates accurately (candidate’s fit with the job and with the company culture) – Intuitive and able to read people well
• Out of box sourcing and recruiting techniques
• Ability to work in a team environment, manage multiple internal clients, and provide strong consultative skills throughout the search process
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
• Passionate about providing exceptional customer service to all you connect with
• Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage competing demands
• Proven ability to source and recruit candidates from non-traditional sources, as well as strong e-recruitment searching skills
