Job Description: Production Planner needed for stable manufacturing company in Santa Ana, Ca. SUMMARY: Production Planner will take responsibility for the day-to-day planning operation to assure schedules and establish desired inventory levels. Must have the ability to organize, plan, schedule, problem solve and know manufacturing methods and procedures. Able to work under pressure, motivate and have a can do attitude. DUTIES: Plan and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times. Expedites operations that delay schedules and confers with management to alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Prepares travelers, work orders, and other documentation for production Coordinates efforts with manufacturing team to initiate expediting of materials, tools, and equipment to meet schedule Resolve scheduling problems by collecting and analyzing information Available to assist in other tasks as directed by supervisor QUALIFICATIONS: 5 years of MRP experience in electronics manufacturing required BS/BA degree and/or equivalent experience preferred Working knowledge of forecasting, MRP, inventory management, shop floor control Highly organized with strong people skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND SOFTWARE: APICS certification Syteline experience a plus COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Life Insurance, 401k, Profit Sharing, Paid Vacation and Holidays We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
