IT Security Engineer / Architect Job in Lexington, Massachusetts US
Our direct client, a pharmaceutical company located in Lexington, MA, is looking for an IT Security Engineer / Architect to work closely with project managers and directors as well as IT department clients (business representatives) from a business and process perspective. This person will help design, implement, troubleshoot, analyze, and maintain security controls services.
THIS IS AN IMMEDIATE CONTRACT NEED THROUGH THE END OF THE YEAR WITH OPTION TO EXTEND.
The Information Security Architect will
· Build and maintain the security overlay of the IT architectural framework that integrates design, business, operations, systems, security, and information components.
· Analyze and recommend strategy for adoption of Security Solutions protecting the infrastructure and data.
· Design, develop and document security services that mitigate risks within IT.
· Responsible for the implementation and ongoing accountability of information security controls, incident management and reporting.
· Coordinate internal and external teams of technical security operations staff that will actively operate, maintain, customize, and configure information security tools and processes in support of the information security program.
· Work with peer managers in both Information Security and Information Technology to develop metrics to evaluate components of security maturity, such as, but not limited to incident response, patch compliance and vulnerability risk state, security abnormalities, log exception tracking, and controls objectives adherence.
