IT Security Specialist – Consultant recruitment
We are seeking an IT security expert for a short-term consulting opportunity. The individual must have significant experience running penetration testing tools for an assignment to conduct an IT security review involving a penetration test for a banking application. Immediate availability is required. The candidate must be well-versed and possess previous experience in:
- Performing vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
- Interviewing technical and non-technical system personnel
- Reviewing security documentation and operational procedures to determine system vulnerabilities
- Industry standard certification in vulnerability analysis or penetration testing
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
The candidate should have strong project management skills and demonstrate the ability to multitask under tight deadlines. At least 8 years’ experience in IT security in the banking industry is preferred, with a BA/BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline.
