IT Service Management (ITSM) Consultant Job in Calgary, Alberta Canada

Integritas Solutions (www.integritas.ca) is seeking exceptional IT Service Management (ITSM) consultants in Calgary and Toronto. We are looking for several ITSM consultants with practical, hands-on, real-world experience to lead a number of strategic project engagements.

 

IT Service Management (ITSM) Skills

•        Experience designing and implementing ITSM solutions in large, complex customer environments.

•        Ability to work at all governance levels (strategic, tactical and operational) to introduce ITIL best practices, processes and procedures.

•        Experience with process modeling, defining roles and responsibilities, establishing process policies, determining metrics and key performance indicators, and developing approaches to continuous service improvement.

•        Ability to identify and drive out business and functional requirements for the specification of automated, integrated, ITIL based technology solutions.

•        Experience in the building of ITIL training materials and delivery of ITIL training.

•        Verifiable client references across both the private and public sectors.

 

Leadership and Management Skills

•        Effectively use business and technical background to identify and provide innovative solutions to business problems.

•        Demonstrated ability in setting objectives, managing scope, identifying and mitigating risk, facilitating walkthroughs and communicating with stakeholders.

•        Experience in the leadership of project teams focused on the design and implementation of high quality ITSM solutions.

•        Ability to manage large, complex projects simultaneously while ensuring quality service delivery.

•        Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work closely with clients and stakeholders in the design and implementation of high quality ITSM solutions.

 

Communication and Transferrable Skills

•        Able to communicate effectively to a broad range of audiences, from executive and senior management to technical staff, at the appropriate level of detail.

•        Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with strong presentation, facilitation, and training skills.

•        Proven ability to bridge the communication gap between the business and IT.

•        Committed to facilitating a collaborative, effective and positive work environment.

 

Education and Professional Development

•        Certification in at least one of the following areas:

o        ITIL training and certification

-         ITIL V3 Foundations.

-         ITIL V3 Intermediate.

-         ITIL V3 Expert.

-         ITIL V2 Service Manager.

o        Cobit Foundations training and certification.

o        Certified Management Consultant (CMC) or other professional designation.

o        Formal training in Organizational Change Management – e.g. Prosci, etc.

•        Active member and participant in industry organizations, such as itSMF, HDI, PMI.

•        Demonstrated thought leadership through regular speaking engagements with industry organizations such as those specified above.

•        Publication of white papers, blogs, magazine articles or professional books.

•        Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study; equivalent experience would also be considered.
