 The Company

My client, a leading global IT and software services provider is urgently seeking a highly experienced Service Manager to join it’s Hong Kong regional team to take responsibility for efficient and responsive support services to the firm’s client base.  

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the Service Desk and Production Support teams are responding to client needs efficiently and also act as the point of escalation for more difficult or demanding incidents. You will also build and develop strong relationships with the customer base, understanding their business carefully and where necessary provide specific customizations to ensure best results. You will also work closely with Service Managers in other regions to ensure a consistent global performance and ensure, when necessary, support processes are handed over correctly.

Your Profile

You will have a proven background in software or service support, gained from a software provider or broker ideally with a strong knowledge of equity and derivatives markets and support therein. You will have solid experience in dealing with external customers effectively with evidence of strong developed customer relationships, with extremely strong communication skills.  Knowledge of UNIX, SQL, C++ and hardware and network knowledge is highly desirable. ITIL and Service Desk qualifications are also highly desirable. Fluency in English is essential, along with strong leadership and team working skills with a proven ability to multitask in a high pressure environment.
