Working with both the development and deployment teams on logistics of applications that interact with proprietary software.
· Working with complex system specifications, including system scripts, system installation procedures, system backup and recovery techniques and system test methods.
· Developing test plans and procedures.
· Testing multiple versions of software.
· Tracking and reporting test results.
· Shell scripting
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred.
· Minimum 4 years experience in computer science or MIS
· 3-4 years experience with: JBOSS, SCM (e.g. SVN, VSS and TFS), SQL, Apache and web services
· 2 years experience in the build and release process of software development
· Solid working knowledge of web applications
· Ability to document and track defects, as well as to produce detailed reports using defect tracking tools
· Familiarity with software development lifecycles
· Recent experience working in both Windows and Linux environments
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Self-starter, team player, able to deal with conflict, pro in handling ambiguity and a quick learner.
· May require travel up to 5%.
· May be required to work extended hours, carry a pager/cell phone and be on call.
· Experience with Agile methodologies
· Java, JMS
· Unix shell scripting, ANT scripts, Powershell, PERL
· Familiar or some experience with SOAP UI
