IT Strategy Consultant – Business IT Alignment and Enterprise Architecture
Job Overview
We are looking for IT professionals who have hands-on IT strategy and transformation experience gained in financial services environments, including investment banking, retail banking, wealth management and/or alternative investment/buy-side organisations.
Key Responsibilities
You will be advising financial services clients on all aspects of Business IT alignment and Enterprise Architecture. Specifically, we are looking for the skills and experience outlined below.
Experience
- Financial services experience in one or more of the following areas: Capital Markets/Investment Banking or Wealth Management or Retail Banking or Finance Risk Management
- Business and IT alignment
- Business goals and IT driver analysis, business operating model definition, Component Business Modelling
- Current state assessment, business component IT heatmap production
- Future state definition
- Gap analysis and roadmap design
- Business case development and detailed initiative planning
- Enterprise Architecture (EA)
- Business/Process Architecture design; Business Process Management, Business Activity Monitoring, Enterprise Content Management
- Application Architecture design; assessment, future state definition, Enterprise Application Integration, Service Oriented Architectures, Enterprise Service Bus deployment
- Data Architecture design; data governance, data warehousing, meta-data driven data management, data virtualisation, analytics and Business Intelligence, industry vertical specific data strategies (e.g. Product, Market and Client Reference Data)
- Technology/Infrastructure Architecture design
- Industry specific Reference Architectures, e.g. for Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Investment Banking, Exchanges, Alternative Investment Managers/Buy-side
- EA governance, establishing EA Centre of Excellence, EA Best Practice, EA effectiveness scoring models
- EA frameworks such as TOGAF, etc.
- EA tools such as Troux, ARIS, TopEase, etc.
Additional Requirements
100% travel to client site may be required
