J2EE Application Developer, Asset Management (1 year contract)

Currently we are looking for experienced J2EE developers to join a new project which is still in an early stage, the team focuses Transfer Agency System development. Followings are major job responsibilities:
- Participate in the full development life cycle from system design, development, testing to implementation
- Coordinate and communicate with IT colleagues and users on related project issues
- Ensure that deliveries and system implementation follow standards, guidelines and steps as defined in the development methodology
- Maintain the security control in accordance to company requirements
- Provide on-going support and maintenance to local and regional users
Skills
- University degree in Computing or related disciplines
- At least 5 years solid applications development experiences and well versed with full development life cycle, ideally with past experience in Transfer Agency application development
- Exceptional J2EE programming skills, with practical experience in Websphere and Oracle
- Strong knowledge in using common open source Java base framework especially on Spring and Hibernate
- Some knowledge on tools like Google Web Toolkit, Maven, RAD, ClearCase, Power Designer, Subversion, QC, Business Objects and Crystal Reports is a definite plus
- A self-starter with ability to work independently and under pressure
- A keen enthusiast in keeping abreast of emerging new technologies
- Excellent command of both written English and Chinese with great communication and interpersonal skills who is able to communicate with users at all levels
