Japanese Investment Research Manager recruitment
Our client is a global specialist for knowledge processes with a global team of over 2000 employee worldwide. Their core focus is to improve and execute knowledge-intensive processes and to leverage its proprietary technology in enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. The global knowledge centres are located in Chile, China, India and Romania which serves on a multi-time zone and multi-lingual services. Their solutions include customised research and analytics services for leading-edge companies worldwide.
Responsibilities:
-Manage a group of Business Analysts and Senior Business Analysts
-Span is usually about 5-10 people, reporting to Assistant Vice President
-Responsible for overall account management for 1-2 key large accounts
-Responsible for manpower planning, recruitment and thought leadership for the group. In campus and lateral placements, you will be a key decision maker
-Freedom to develop your group the way you want to. You can build expertise in new domains and processes that are of relevance to our client
-Coaching and mentoring
As a career manager, you will be required to mentor 5-10 business analysts and senior business analysts. This is an active role in the career of the people you are mentoring
Take initiative and ownership of training modules and provide thought leadership to analysts
Other initiatives:
-Since our client is a rapidly growing firm, there are several internal challenges to streamline the processes and systems. You will have ample opportunities to take initiatives. These include infrastructure management, knowledge management, PR activities etc.
Requirements:
-Bachelor/Master/MBA with a specialization in Finance
-Sound understanding of financial statements, extensive exposure to financial model building, knowledge of different valuation metrics, and exposure to financial writing
-Additional qualification like CA/ International CFA / Engineering would be an added advantage though not mandatory
-Knowledge of database like Bloomberg, Reuters will also be given additional weightage.
-Good at project and client management.
