Japanese speaking Senior Internal Auditor
Our client, an international organisation with operations across the globe, seeks a Japanese speaking Senior Internal Auditor to strengthen its European audit team. Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, you undertake a broad range of audits to assess the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes. You will highlight areas of potential weakness and work with management to implement changes that will improve the control environment and mitigate risk. Within the organisation, internal audit is seen as an independent consulting function, designed to help the business and improve understanding of risk management and internal control best practice.
Applicants should come from a solid audit background, ideally with pan-European auditing experience. Whilst candidates coming straight from a top tier firm will be considered, internal audit experience would be preferred.
As well as a professional accounting qualification - ACA, CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent, it is essential that this individual speaks fluent Japanese. Travel, mainly to Europe but some long-haul trips can be expected, however this should equate to around 25%. Only candidate who are eligible to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship need apply.
