In a relatively short time, Collaborative Consulting has taken a place at the forefront of the IT professional services marketplace. We are opening a development center to expand our technology services for our clients. We are looking for bright, motivated individuals that are interested in working in a fun and dynamic environment on a variety of development projects. You will gain experience to multiple technologies and exposure to wide range of industries, including, but not limited to Life Sciences, Financial Services, Insurance and Retail.
You will have the opportunity to participate in the development, design and implementation of new custom application solutions to meet business needs; collaborate with team members and technical leads to understand customer requirements; perform development, unit testing, and system testing; and create the necessary documentation for application functionality.
Required skills:
· 8+ years of Java development and design experience
· Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server, and database programming
· Experience with relational database concepts
· Web development experience (CSS, Javascript, HTML, XML)
· Experience with software development methodologies
· Experience with one or more of the following: JBOSS, Apache, Tomcat, Websphere, Weblogic
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Strong relationship and team building skills
· Experience leading teams of 1-10 staff
· Experience mentoring more junior staff
Skills considered a plus:
· Experience working with Java development frameworks such as Spring
· Experience working with Java web technologies such as Struts, Spring MVC, JSF, or GWT
· Experience working on Web 2.0 websites, AJAX
· Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
