Java Core Developer / Dev Lead recruitment
The Risk Group builds a variety of applications using multiple technologies to get Risk data from the risk calculation farms to trader desktops and market risk manager reports. This functionality enables traders to immediately estimate impact of every trade on their PL, resulting in faster, smarter business practices.
This is a growth area with dedicated investment to rapidly increase the delivery capability of the centre. Therefore in order to build this team my client seeks a number of strong Java middleware developers with excellent Java skills, who can demonstrate experience of:
- Strong knowledge of garbage collection include ways to minimize impact
- Experience in developing highly performant software (high throughput/low latency)
- Concurrent programming, distributed systems, multithreading, etc
- Good testing practices: JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber Maven.
- Core Java, dependency injection, Spring
Nice to haves include:
- net skills – WCF / WPF
- GWT experience
- HTML5/CSS3 experience
- Financial services experience.
These roles are based in Cary, NC in the Research Triangle Park area.
The roles range in seniority from associate / AVP up to VP for exceptional technical leaders.
