Strategic Delivery & Advisory – FX / MM Operations, based in Singapore, Excellent Package + Bonus recruitment
As a result of internal mobility, our client, an international Investment Bank is looking to hire a technically adept and strategic-minded Operations Manager. This is not a traditional Operations role, our client is looking to hire an individual who is focussed on the wider FX/MM markets and is keen to engage with external parties and develop strategies. The right individual will have substantial industry experience across local and international markets with a deep understanding of the operational environment.
As a guideline, the key responsibilities include:
• Driving the strategic vision and big-picture oversight across the FX / MM Operations and other business units.
• As part of the global control agenda provide advice and direction to policy and guidelines affecting the utility.
• Work with senior management and governance committees to deliver on the control agenda.
This is a high profile position with a strong focus on development of the team and utility. As such strong Treasury Product knowledge and excellent communications skills are essential.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience with FX / MM and Treasury products
• Strategic focussed approach to delivery and improvements
• Substantial industry experience, ideally both local and international
• Confident liaising across both Front Office and Middle Office environments
• Demonstrable background in the delivery of change
• Substantial experience within the investment and or commercial banking industry
• Experience with outsourced operations would also be beneficial
