Java Developer
Great-West Life and Annuity is fro Java developers to join the Investment Systems team of application software professionals. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and highly collaborative team providing research, analysis, design, coding, unit testing and support of various internally developed and integrated 3rd party systems.
Requirements:
- PL/SQL and stored procedures (at least 2 years)
- Java coding experience (at least 2 years)
- Object oriented analysis and design (at least 2 years)
- Apache Tomcat
- Excellent communication (verbal written) skills
- Ability to work directly with business users
- Excellent team skills
- Life Insurance or Financial industry experience
- Web Services development
- Spring
- Hibernate
- Eclipse
- ANT
- On-call production support on a periodic cycle

- PAM and Infostream (Princeton Financial Systems 3rd party products)
- ETL tools, data warehousing, Business Objects, Data Integrator, Informatica

Education Required: Requires a related technical bachelor's degree (e.g. computer science, information systems, math, engineering, physics, etc.) or a non technical bachelor's degree (e.g. Business Administration) and equivalent applicable work experience.
