Leading Asset Management is looking to recruit a Java Developer/Architect to work in their Global Mixed Asset Group technology team on a project involving the continued integration of the ThinkFolio into their systems using the latest messaging frameworks.
As a Java Developer/Architect you should have experience with designing and delivering solutions to integrate web services and to perform data transformation.
As a Java Developer/Architect you should be comfortable working closely with architects in other regions to agree best solutions especially around message formats and protocols.
As a Java Developer/Architect you will have the following experience:
* Experience in banking/finance especially within a front office environment
* Knowledge of Equities and Fixed Income
* Messaging (ideally FIXML)
This role provides end to end project work in an agile team working directly with portfolio managers and traders to gather requirements design and develop solutions.
Ideal Java Developer/Architect you will have the following skill sets.
* Strong knowledge of Java
* Spring
* Low latency messaging
* SQL
* J2EE development
* Unix
* Informatica
