About the Role:
The Product Data Management (PDM)/Pricing Analyst position requires an extremely detailed/analytical individual that will be responsible for SKU material creation and pricing maintenance of all worldwide McAfee SKUs in our SAP ERP system.
The PDM/Pricing function in SAP is critical to how SKUs/materials are created and priced within SAP allowing them to flow downstream to our external applications which drives automated revenue recognition, product fulfillment, support entitlement, product quoting, order processing and invoicing that will need to be considered as new McAfee products are created and introduced WW from SAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- SKU Material Creation and Pricing Maintenance in SAP ERP system and able to perform quality assurance with established pricing in various regions. (US, Canada, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, Europe/Middle East/Africa and Japan)
- Proficient using Excel formulas to perform ad-hoc analysis for material and pricing QA
- Must be organized and able to meet various tight deadlines around quarterly publication periods, backing up peers with price book activities
- Communicate with various areas of the business (such as Product Management, IT, Revenue, Tax and Cost Accounting) when needed to determine if current functionality will provide all relevant deliverables as materials and pricing are established in SAP
- Previous use of mass data uploads through the use of transactions or functions, preferably with SAP
- Log and track incoming production issues, following through to closure
- Provide Month-end/Quarter-end production support for Sales/Order Operations teams worldwide
Qualifications
Required Experience/Skills Education:
- Minimum of 1-3 years pricing experience a must
- Proficient in MS Office Tools, Access and SAP
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Must have proven problem solving skills and have the ability to work independently
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be a self-starter, following through on side projects to completion, while handling multiple tasks
- Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry pricing practices
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Experience establishing and documenting processes is a plus
