Harrington Starr is working exclusively with specialist in financial technology find a Java Developer (J2SE, Core Java) that will join the dynamic risk management solution team providing clients with the latest in big data and real-time solutions to financial clients around the world.

As the Java Developer (TDD, JUnit) your role will be full life cycle development of various existing projects with major new feature work and an array of pipeline projects with clients that have now been given the green light. On top of these new greenfield projects to work on the legacy system will be moving onto new spring based technology, which will require research and prototyping.

The company are big on quality and test driven development is implemented to ensure highest standards of performance. Paired programming and collaboration with other senior developers, architects and business users is important to the role and your communication and relationship building skills will be pivotal to the success of the position.

Key requirements:

* 3+ Years Core Java/J2SE development commercial experience (Required)
* Strong Multi-threading or concurrent programming experience (Essential)
* Excellent communication and relationship building skills (Beneficial)
* Spring, Hibernate, Wicket, HTML, XML (Beneficial)
* Authority to travel freely throughout European Union (Required)
