Harrington Starr has partnered with a pioneer in global corporate banking technology a Java Developer (J2SE, Core Java) that will join rapidly expanding corporate lending production team that supplies the top corporate banks in the UK and around the world with unique solutions allowing incredible saving on both time and money for their clients.
As the Java Developer (SQL, Oracle) your role will be full life cycle development of various existing projects with major new feature work and an array of pipeline projects with clients that have now been given the green light. On top of these new greenfield projects you will be performing research and information gathering from senior clients, which presence an great opportunity to build your non-technical skills.
The team is expanding rapidly, this means that you will join the projects from an early stage and as the team grows, so will your influence and responsibilities within the team, giving you a great variety of tasks and technologies to work with.
Key requirements:
* 2+ Years Core Java/J2SE development commercial experience (Required)
* Proactive and enthusiastic mentality (Essential)
* Excellent communication and relationship building skills (Beneficial)
* Full project life cycle development experience (Required)
* SQL, Oracle, Spring, Hibernate, Wicket, HTML, XML (Beneficial)
* Authority to travel freely throughout European Union (Required)
