Java Developer – Front Office recruitment
A tier-1 Investment Bank seeks developer to join their leading Commodities business to participate in development program for their Client Facing Portal. A successful candidate will be self-motivated, exceed technically and be looking to develop a career in a fast moving, innovative and rewarding environment. The role is focused on the Metals trading platform, offering a rare opportunity to join a knowledgeable and successful team recognised widely as leaders in their field.
Responsibilities include:
- Hands-on Flex/Java/FIX design, development and quality assurance
- Working with internal sponsors, users, technology partners and external clients on all aspects of development lifecycle
- Helping to integrate commodities trading clients into IB wide client facing portal
- Helping to formulate and drive strategic thinking
Skills Needed:
- Java, Python or similar
- OO methodology/build experts
- Exposure to Flex GUI programming
- Experienced developers
- e-trading including FIX connectivity sell and buy side
- Low latency / high volume trading systems
- Experience working in front office directly with traders/marketers
- Prefer experience of banking but not essential
