Harrington Starr has partnered with a hedge fund to find a Java Developer that will join the technology team that trades on several stock markets around the world.
As the Java Developer you will be working in a team of developers that sits in a front office environment alongside the traders and business users. You will have you major projects to take ownership of and become a niche specialist with elements of the trading technology whilst remaining versatile and collaborating with the development team in agile full life cycle projects.
Key requirements;
* Strong Core Java Development experience (Essential)
* Concurrent programming experience (Required)
* Knowledge of multiple frameworks; Spring, Hibernate etc. (Beneficial)
* Passionate technologist (Required)

You will be part of a mixed team, this will give you exposure to the financial commercial skills that you won't pick up from a back office role. The development skills will need to keep up with the traders market strategies and you will learn from and teach the other development team members.
