Java Developer – Securities Reference Data recruitment
This position is for Senior Software Developer for Securities Reference Data, part of the Enterprise Data Services Group (EDS) at our MS London Office. The candidate will join a global Securities Reference Data Development team tasked with developing and maintaining the reference data interfaces and infrastructure developing a number of green field applications, helping operations to streamline and reengineer their processes and address outstanding audit requirements.
Skills Required:
Strong understanding of Java technology (Core Java, J2EE)
Strong Scripting knowledge (Perl / UNIX)
Database Development and Debugging ? Stored Procedures (Sybase and/or DB2) ,
Database Design and Modeling
Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies
Design Patterns (GoF and J2EE)
Excellent presentations skills: ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner; individually or in front of a group
Keen attention to detail
Strong communication and influencing skills
Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work
Candidate will be required to work geographically dispersed teams, specially team(s) in New York, London , Toronto, Shanghai and India (Noida/Mumbai)

Knowledge of open source frameworks: Spring, XMLBeans, JAXB
ORM Tools (Hibernate)
