Java Developer – VP (Cash Equities) recruitment
Main Duties
As a member of the Equities Cash development team, this candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Work closely with users on implementing new features and system fixes
- Work closely with quality assurance team to ensure complete testing of system
- Act as second-line support for the primary support team
- Attend senior meetings with key stakeholders where appropriate
- Liaise with internal traders, operations, finance, and market risk on potential process improvements
- Mentor more junior members of the team where appropriate
- Liaise with development teams on future applications
Experience Preferred
- Knowledge of equities trading in Asia, including trade lifecycle Knowledge of common risk sensitivities (e.g. beta, delta, rho, theta).
Skills / Aptitude Required
- Java Database Unix/ Linux TIBCO/Rendezvous
- Experienced in software design and understanding of full development cycle.
- General infrastructure knowledge (network, servers)
