Our client is currently seeking a Java development lead to join the bank’s Strategic Risk program . The aim of the project is to improve the bank’s risk reporting landscape in line with both regulatory requirements and business objectives. The Development Lead will need to manage the transition of functionality from legacy reporting systems and spread sheets on to the infrastructure through 2014 and 2015. The Development Lead should be comfortable in dealing with demanding business clients, and must be able to balance the needs of the business with IT’s capacity for delivery
The ideal candidate must also be able to work closely with business and IT management and teams to plan and manage all phases of IT and business work whilst Implementing and enforcing required development best practices including daily standups, test coverage and build automation (continuous delivery)

Your core computer science will be tested, so it is important to be hands on
