Java Front Office Technical Lead – FX/eFX – Greenfield Trading Programme
There is a new role with an Investment Bank in London, looking for a Senior Java Developer/Technical Lead to join a major Front Office Programme within their FX/eFX Trading Group.
The programme is a multi-year piece of work to design and implement a new eFX Trading Platform from scratch, before rolling out the system to all FX Products and migrating all existing business onto the new platform.
Sitting directly with the Quants and Traders, you will be responsible for design, development and implementation of the new platform, leading a team of 5 and reporting into the Global Programme Manager. The system is Java based, with a Swing Front-End and Complex Core Java Back-End.
You must have the following skills and experience to apply:
Essential:
- Excellent Core Java Technical Skills
- Strong Hibernate
- Front Office Complex - Programming experience - Real-Time/Low Latency Coding
- Good knowledge of FX Products - experience working directly with the business
- Experience leading small to medium size development teams
Preferred:
- Java Swing
- eFX
