Java J2EE Developer – OOD – B2C – OsCache – FINANCE

Competitive Compensation (W2 consultants only.  No c2c for this position.)

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with excellent JEE and OOD skills and have extensive experience in the server side web application space.  As a Sr Java Software Developer you will take part in the creation of industry leading B2C internet sites on an open source platform.  You will work closely with a small elite team regarding product definition and tackling challenging design issues.  You will be expected to implement that design according to high quality standards. Product delivery is time boxed and it is essential that the candidate be hard working and dedicated to its completion.

Responsibilities:
** Develop and implement software modules for internet facing Web sites and applications.
** Develop, enhance, code, test, document and implement system modifications.
** Responsible for system quality assurance and consistency with installation, security policy and standards.

MUST HAVE:
** 5+ years Java software development in the web application space.
** Solid understanding of technologies including: Java6. JSP, JSTL, Servlet, Struts, Hibernate, Spring 3+, Spring MVC, OsCache, XML/XSLT, Log4j.
** Experience configuring and administering Apache and Tomcat
** Excellent written and oral communication skills.
** BS or MS in CS or equivalent.

NICE TO HAVE but not mandatory:

** In addition to the qualifications listed above, experience in JMeter, JUnit, Eclipse, Luntbuild, SVN, Sybase a plus
** Experience with SiteMesh 2.4.2 and Dojo 1.6, OpenText CMS (RedDot), JavaFX, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, mobile app development a big plus.
