Harrington Starr is working with a Global Independent Financial Software House based in London City who is looking to hire a Senior J2SE, Core Java 6 Developer to work on an award winning Repo Trading. This is a Technology focussed company who specialise in building systems for the finance and banking industry on a global scale.
As the Senior J2SE Developer you will join a team of 8 Programmers in the London Office. The role requires an entrepreneurial attitude as you will need to hit the ground running. Extensive experience using J2SE, Java 6, with some C#.NET with be required for this role. The role is a pure Java J2SE Developer role but you will have the chance to develop or cross train in C#. You will be working on a Repo Stock trading system which is used by over 300000 users globally. The Senior J2SE Java Developer will have extensive experience with SCRUM and work using this methodology in this team. They key skills for this role is to have strong and proven experience with J2SE, OOP and Multi threading development. Any experience with Sybase and Oracle would also be advantageous.
Key Skills:
* Extensive Core Java J2SE Development
* Extensive experience of OOP and Multi threading development
* Extensive experience of SCURM Methodologies (SRCUM Certified)
* Any financial services experience would also be advantages although not essential
