Harrington Starr is working with a leading Financial Services Reporting vendor based in London City who are looking to find a Java (J2EE, EJB3, JPA, GWT) Developer to join their client reporting software development team.
As a Java J2EE (J2EE, EJB3, JPA, GWT) Developer in this team you will need to have a highly entrepreneurial attitude and be able to work effectively in a small team. The team is made up of 2 J2EE (J2EE, EJB3, JPA, GWT) Developers and you will work very closely with the business and end users. You be working on a Greenfield project completely rebuilding an entire application that was previously built using Struts and EJB 2.0. You will be using the latest technologies such as Enterprise Java, EJB 3.0, JPA and Hibernate. This firm is one of the leading client reporting firms and have been dramatically increasing their client base recently and hence need to increase the size of their development team. (Java Developer - Enterprise Java, JPA, EJB 3.0, Hibernate, GWT, SQL, Oracle, J2SE, Spring, Concurrency, OOP, OOD, Design Patterns, Core Java)
* · Strong knowledge of Enterprise Java - Essential
* · Experience with JPA + Hibernate - Essential
* · Knowledge of EJB 3.0 - Highly Beneficial
* · Experience with GWT - Beneficial
