Java Or .Net Technical Developer / Consultant – Endur – London recruitment
Based out of their prestigious London City offices, you’ll join a World leading firm working with most of the largest and blue chip investment banks and commodity trading houses in the UK and Northern Europe.
My client is growing aggressively to meet the needs of their clients and as such is hiring for an experienced Senior Java or .Net developer to join our dynamic technical consultancy team. It is an interactive role interfacing with business technical representatives from both the client side and internal. The complexity requires a high level of technical and functional understanding and proficiency.
Development experience in either the financial (investment bank, hedge fund etc.) or the commodities trading domain would be very beneficial, but is not essential.

Key Skills Experience Required:
- Proven commercial Java and/or .Net in a commercial capacity.
• Java – J2SE V5 or above. Knowledge and understanding of multi-threaded programming.
• .Net (C#) – Framework 3.5 or above. Knowledge of WCF and WPF. Understanding of delegates and events.
- Expert knowledge of SQL in either Oracle or SQL Server.
- A computer science degree or equivalent qualification.
- Any familiarity with J2EE, web services or JMS would be very beneficial.
- Previous commodity trading environment experience, or even other non-commodity trading experience is beneficial
- Previous experience working in consulting environments is beneficial.

- The ability to understand business requirements and processes involved in creating a bespoke solution.
- Ability to document work clearly and concisely
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to work alone.
- Adaptable to working with different clients and cultures in locations across the UK and Continental Europe
- Permission to live and work in the UK
