Java Developer
A Well-established and growing start-up with excellent funding from the likes of Google Ventures and others is seeking a superstar Java developer with strong Hibernate and SQL experience to become a key participant in building the next big product!
**Client base already includes big players like iTunes, Amazon, Macy's and Google!**
What You'll Be Doing!
The role of the Senior Developer will be focused on:
- Developing high-availability applications and scalable data processing and storage.
- Designing new data models.
- Developing high-performance software.
- Architecting web-scale infrastructure.
What We Need From You!
- 3+ years of multi-threaded server-side web application programming experience using agile development techniques.
- Strong Java skills and object oriented design experience.
- Excellent database development skills including advanced SQL programming, a solid understanding of database technologies, and logical and physical data modeling.
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related degree, with an excellent academic record.
- A demonstrable affinity for working at start-ups.
**Most importantly, we want a builder, someone who has substantially built something that you can point to. Merely following instructions is not enough. We need people who build things.**
