As a result, we currently have an opportunity for a Process Manager for their Brisbane project office. This is a key role and we require proven experience to leading and managing the development and evaluation of the process engineering on a green field coal mine development. You will be responsible for assisting the project team in all metallurgical issues, processes and equipment selection; act as the metallurgical liaison between the project team and Processing Consultant; using process flowsheet modelling, to ensure the value of the resource is maximised and delivers best practice in process optimisation; and identifying opportunities to introduce innovative plant process and promoting use of high facilities standards. To be considered for this role, you will have:-
- A degree in Minerals Processing, Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
- Experience working within an operating coal processing plant
- Strong background in the design and construction of coal mines
- Client side or strong EPCM background
- RPEQ membership or elegibility
- Stable employment background with long term tenure
You will also possess strong communication and leadership skills, and a demonstrated ability to liaise with a variety of people on all levels. Regular travel to site is required.
