JAVA SWING DEVELOPER - ORACLE - INVESTMENT BANK - LONDON
Top Tier Investment bank seeks a Java Swing Developer to work on the Bank's Client On-Boarding initiative. The application architecture uses the TIBCO technology stack. The team is responsible for delivering changes into a major investment programme for 2012 and also carry out business-as-usual enhancements.
The role is for a highly skilled UI designer who is strong with Java/Swing.
Experience required:
- Excellent UI Design and implementation experience
- Experience of working within an Investment Banking environment
- Good knowledge of various Software Development Methodologies and ability to apply them to specific projects which should include: Waterfall, RUP, Agile, Scrum, TDD and continuous integration
Technical skills:
- Java/Java Swing
- Multithreading
- Oracle SQL
- TIBCO Product Stack
- Other Java Technologies - Servlets, JSPs, Struts, XML, Spring, SwingX, Hibernate, SOA Architectures
- HTML, JavaScript, Tomcat
- Continuous Integration (Team City), test automation frameworks
