Software Engineer/Architect-Full Time -NYC
Global Mortgage and Securitized Products Technology Group seeks Senior Developer.
Position Description:
This is a software development role. We are looking for an expert software engineer/architect to work in GMSP Technology team. The successful candidate will work primarily on building the firms next generation Mortgage Trading, Sales and Risk Management systems. Some maintenance of existing systems will be necessary for the medium term (1-3 years).
Candidate Requirements:
The candidate:
- Must possess expert C++ or Java software development skills,
- Be a ‘hands on’ coder
- Be able to solve novel organizational problems - in code.
- Be able to work with a team of like-minded high-caliber developers.
- Have an advanced degree in a mathematical, computer science or engineering field
- Must possess solid communication skills.
The candidate should be a self-starter who enjoys programming and who has successfully delivered significant “enterprise-scale” projects to end-users previously.
