Java/Flex Developer Job in Dallas 75214, Texas US
AVA Consulting is seeking for a Java/Flex Developer at Dallas, TX for a Permanent position.
Only US Citizens are Eligible for this position.
Role:
The Java/Flex Developer will be responsible for developing and enhancing XFR Gen2 and Unity suite of applications. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, have excellent communication skills and be an adaptable team player.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with other XFR and Unity development team members to maintain and enhance front and back end features.
• Designs and implements new software features.
• Produces high quality code paired with necessary Unit Testing and documentation.
Qualifications Characteristics:
• BS required, concentration in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
• Expert level knowledge of Java
• Strong knowledge of Flex
• Live Cycle or Adobe Digital Enterprise Platform knowledge is a major advantage
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, DOM and CSS
• Strong programming experience (4+ years)
• Experience with MVC, Spring, Hibernate
• Effective verbal and written communication across multiple geographic locations
• Experience working on Enterprise web applications, ideally both front and back-end
• Experience working with SQL Server and/or Oracle
• Experience with Financial Applications and/or Accounting knowledge a plus
• .NET experience is a plus but not required
