JAVA/J2EE Developer w/JSP/JavaScript/HTML/CSS Job in Cambridge 02138, Massachusetts US
seeking a Senior Software Engineer. This key engineer will act not only as an implementing of new functions but will also have responsibility for maintenance of our existing systems. They will also be expected to have the ability to mentor more junior members of the team in all aspects of the software development life cycle from design and implementation to test and bug fixing.
Some of the systems that must be maintained have been in use for some time and will require reengineering/architecture at the same time we continue to maintain them. A key success factor for this individual is their ability to come into an environment and quickly learn about the existing systems while learning about Identity and Access Management at Harvard.
Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills:
B.S. with 7+ years experience as a software engineer.
7+ years Java and J2EE experience (e.g., JBOSS, WebLogic, or WebSphere).
Significant experience with Web application environments including JSP/JavaScript/HTML/CSS.
Significant experience with one or more database technologies such as MySql or Oracle.
Experience with Hibernate.
Solid LDAP understanding and experience.
Demonstrated track record of successful project development and implementations.
Proficient working with UNIX/Linux systems and is reasonably self sufficient managing their system.
Additional Qualifications:
Strong problem solving as well as analytical skills highly desired.
Ability to work in a diverse team environment.
Excellent communication skills and technical writing ability.
Experience in Identity and Access Management.
Experience with Oracle IDM product a plus.
