As a talented and motivated Senior OO Javascript Developer you will work on one of the world's largest and fastest growing social platforms. The client provides a fun and fast-paced environment where creativity, innovation and technical excellence offer outstanding careers opportunities. They are looking for exceptional front-end developers to work on cross-game, cross-platform web initiatives delivering to mobile and social platforms. You will be set the challenge of developing dynamic browser-based user experience seen by tens of millions of monthly users.
You will need to have in-depth knowledge of developing object-oriented Javascript including knowledge of libraries and frameworks such as Backbone.js, Underscore.js, Require.js, Node.js, jQuery and Zepto. You will need to have experience of developing in a test first environment with Jasmine, Buster.js or a similar technology. Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 is essential as is developing against 3rd party, web-based APIs. You must have a strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and exposure to developing web applications for iOS and Android phones and tablets. It would be very beneficial to have experience working with Facebook or other social network APIs as well as working with Scrum or other Agile processes.
